The passing of Vern McCauley, Eden House founder

Vern McCauley, founder of Eden House with his wife Audrey, passed away on August 10th, 2025. It was a privilege of mine to serve alongside Vern for 6 years at Eden House. The magnitude that one person’s death can have in the lives of so many people, is a clear testimony to the way Vern loved people so well. He was a great friend and a loving father to many girls at Eden house. The impact of his life will continue to live on at Eden House through each girl that is able to come live in a safe home , given the opportunity to receive an education, and come to know who Jesus is. Vern set a wonderful example for me and so many others on how to live a life that is used to bless others and truly leave a lasting impact for eternity. -Kim Rattanasongkarm
