Mission, Vision, and Core Values

Mission: “Eden House is established to bring transformation to the lives of at-risk girls by raising them in a Godly family environment.”

Vision: Our highest calling is to know God intimately and to make Him known to others. Specifically, at Eden House, our purpose is to help at-risk girls that come from broken homes, face poverty, or lack an opportunity for an education. These girls are often feeling hurt, abandoned, devalued and hopeless. We desire to see each girl receive healing, hope, acceptance and love that comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We feel called to minster to these girls by providing for their physical, mental, and spiritual needs.

At Eden House we dream that God’s design for family will be redeemed. We are committed to following God’s design for family by making God’s Word our foundation. We strive to share God’s love and truth of Scripture by teaching God’s Word on a regular basis. We also make it our goal to live lives that imitate the life of Jesus Christ—full of love and always speaking the truth in love. God designed the mother and father to make a commitment to love each other for their lifetime with the responsibilities to provide, protect, nurture, and be the main spiritual teachers of their children.   It is our hope that through our prayers and as we teach God’s Word and share the love of Christ with them, that each girl will come to a personal relationship with Christ and grow in spiritual maturity in understanding how God’s Word applies to all areas of their life. We especially hope that they will learn what God’s design and purpose for family is, as we do our best to model and teach about it at Eden House. When they have their own family, it is our desire that they will also establish it on God’s Word. With this as our vision, we hope to see not only the girls come to know Christ as their Savior as we raise them at Eden House, but that they will then establish their own families on God’s Word and teach their children to follow Christ. We have a dream to see Thailand and the nations transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ. We believe the transformation of the nations for Christ begins with the transformation of the homes—may Eden House be a spark that can light a fire.

We are also devoted to provide each girl at Eden House with the opportunity to receive a college education. It is through a good education that the girls will be empowered to get a good ethical job that will help to break the cycle of poverty and hopelessness that they come from. It will help them to not have to resort to illegal practices such as growing drugs, drug-running, or prostitution that is common in the areas that they come from. We are eager to support each girl in their education by helping them with their homework and helping them make progress in areas where they are struggling. We want to see each girl equipped with a quality education and the ability to achieve a job that they are passionate about and that God has uniquely equipped and called them to.
