We're so thankful to God for bringing these girls to Eden House, they each have their own unique gifts and personalities, learn more about them in Meet the Girls!
Before Eden House
We have one new girl in House 1, Ganyawii who goes by Goy. She's 7 Ganyawii is one of 7 siblings. They live in a remote village and the schooling is very poor quality. During rainy season she is often not able to go to school because the road is too bad to travel. Her father is also unable to work and so her mother is not able to have enough money to raise all the children. Ganyawii is from the Akha hill tribe and is in preschool. Her birthday is October 23rd.
We have two new girls in House 2, Pon, and Intipa who goes by In.
Pon is very sweet and quiet. She doesn't like to be the center of attention. Her sister Pimchanok lives in House 3. Pon's father is in prison and her mother has to leave their family to find work, her grandmother lives in the same village but the majority of the responsibility falls on Pon to take care of her siblings.
Intipa is from the Lahu hill tribe. She will be going into 4th grade. Her parents are divorced and she lives with her grandmother and grandfather. Her father is currently in prison for drugs. Her mother doesn’t help to support her. Her grandparents can’t afford to send her to school. Her birthday is December 25th.
We have two new girls in House 3, Pimpa who goes by Vow, and Pimchanok who goes by Gugai.
Pimpa is from a remote village and the schooling is very poor quality. During rainy season she is often not able to go to school because the road is too bad to travel. Her mother is disabled and can’t work, and her father abandoned her when she was young. Pimpa is from the Akha hill tribe and is in preschool. Her birthday is July 1st.
Pimchanok is sisters with Pon, she is similar to her sister since she's shy and quiet. She's had some trouble adjusting to Eden House but now she has become friends with the younger girls and enjoys playing on the playground.
A huge thank you to the sponsors of Pon and Pimchanok, your blessings impact the daily lives of our girls and they love you without even meeting you. We still need sponsors for Ganyawii, In, and Pimpa, if you feel led to do so you can find more information under Contact Us.
