Adding to our Eden House Family

January marks the beginning of a New Year and at Eden House that always means that we look into accepting new girls into the Eden House family. We are often asked, "How does a girl come to live at Eden House?" The process is that first they fill out an application and then the Eden House staff makes home visits to talk with the girl and their relatives to find out more about their situation. Eden house helps girls that are "at-risk" for human trafficking. The situations they come from vary, but often includes abandonment, physical or sexual abuse, lack of schooling, parents in jail, parents addicted to alcohol/drugs, poverty, etc. This video gives you a glimpse into this past month and the home visits that the staff took to evaluate what girls will be accepted to Eden House for the next school year starting in May.
